Company of Heroes: Vietnam Conflict is a total conversion modification for the PC game Company of Heroes. We are aiming to bring all the most iconic weapons and equipment of the Vietnam War to the RTS genre, and will be including helicopters, jets, tanks, new maps, new abilities and more. Our aim is to do for Vietnam what the original CoH did for WW2; to mix elements of realism and tactics with amazing graphics and fantastic gameplay, to deliver 'Nam as you've never seen it before.
so, is it a unit or a speacial ability like the thinderbolt was?
As yet we're undecided. It all depends on how flexible the engine is when it comes to air vehicles, and how it fits in with the mod's gameplay. Rest assured, either way it will be awesome.
2 easiest possibilities is either a direct strafing run on a target, or an overwatch where it will continue to pass over the area til either it runs out of ammo or there are no targets. bother fair easy to do
also, it would appear your missing the front MGs
The idea if it is just an ability is that it will hover over the targeted area delivering the wrath of God for a set amount of time. Also, I am aware the front cannon is missing, that will be added later, as will the Huey's side-mounted machine guns.
the gun would be best added now. before going through the whole exporting process and finding yourself with no room on the UV map to add it.
CoooooooL! Great model and texture!
even better than the one in bf2
Omfg its no the same helicopter -.-' the one deisplayed on the pic was used during vietnam! it was fairly slower and didnt have as much firepower.
The one in bf2 is a newer model lighter moore room for ammo and its faster
Strange skin. Is that from some historical photo reference, or more or less original?
I looked at various Cobra references, but the majority of the pictures were either too poor quality to be able to work with, or they were of modern cobras. So I combined elements of a few cobras I saw, and came up with this.
