Total Conversion mod. Takes Company of Heroes from WW2 to the Vietnam Conflict.
Armed with 5 M14s the riflemen squad can face off against most enemy infantry squads with ease but as soon as the enemy forces begin to out-number or out-perform them with tactics the riflemen will need to be upgraded to continue dealing damage late game.
A global upgrade replaces all 5 M14s in every riflemen squad with the M16 but the recon element upgrade still grants the riflemen with an M14 /scoped (M21) as it was still the basic sniper rifle issued throughout the Vietnam war.
Looks better than I've imagined :D
How about an M60? Will that be added as the heavy MG or light? Also, this is ****** awesome!!!
Ya that would be cool. Have two seperate upgrades:
1. Recon (move faster, sniper)
2. Combat/Heavy (M60 and like a special mine, but moves slower)
Just some suggestions. But you wouldn't be allowed to have both.
Are their helmets camouflaged? Most infantrymen during the Vietnam War had camouflaged helmets. And only a few didn't.
In this picture, no. But, I have worked on it and I've replaced the net textures with a cloth one, almost every soldier either spawns with a steel helmet with nothing on it, a steel helmet with a band around it holding a deck of cards or a camouflage cloth covering over a steel helmet with nothing on it, or a camouflage cloth with a band and card. So there is quite a bit of variation.
I like the variations.. =)
If you would like to add more then I suggest a helmet(steel or wrapped with a cloth) with a band and a few bullets. Like these:

I like them!
About the skins, I think all the U.S. troops should have the Engineer legs, just look at this pic: Google.nl
Much shorter boots, pockets on the trousers and so forth.
release date???
I think there should be an upgrade that allows you to increase squad size of squads. but it would cost a whole **** load of reasorces, seeing that eaither 1, he would be cannon fodder, or 2, he is an extra gun in the rifle squad.
