Picture showing what the riflemen squad will look like after recon element upgrade is purchased, squad now has an M21 and moves slightly faster than regular riflemen who move with caution as they don't want to be ambushed by the vietcong in the thick jungle of Vietnam!
The M14 /w scope (M21) deals slightly more damage than the M14 to represent the soldier being able to hit targets in more vital body parts while armed with a more accurate rifle.
The M21 was the sniper rifle issued to US snipers during Vietnam and was replaced in 1988 by the M24 system. The US sniper will use this very same weapon although with his training can hit targets faster, be more accurate and deals more damage than the soldier issued the M21 in the riflemen squad.
How about an m16 w/ scope for the rifleman squad upgrade and the m21 for the sniper? Great models.
Sniper gets M24 and M16 with scopes were rare, specialy among regurals. This is black ops...

Aidas, are you sure they got the M24? I've read that the M24 didn't enter the american military til' the mid 1980s...

Basicly the same thing.
Apparently it was only used by USMC so unless we eventually add the USMC then well, nowhere to really add it, we might replace the MACVSOG with USMC or something in the future but for now like I said it has no place, maybe if I find something suggesting it may of been used by SOG I can find a place for it that way.
Nvm, I know what I will do to find a place for it.

Hey! Since not much guy use Helmet Nettings during Vietnam War, how about replacing them with more common Camo Helmet cover?
they've already been replaced, this is an old picture though.
