Remember the original Command & Conquer? Remember all the units, characters and themes from that game? Well, that classic from the early 90's that spawned over a dozen titles and revolutionized the RTS gaming world has been reincarnated in the C&C Generals Zero Hour SAGE 3D game engine and looks better than ever with 40 campaign missions with the original briefing videos! But once that is finished, you can dish it out in a skirmish or multiplayer game to your hearts content with the all new skirmish AI developed exclusively for this Mod!
I have been spending the past couple of months personally focusing on quality improvements on the graphics and making some important game code/script adjustments for Tiberian Dawn Redux. While doing this, I have spent a lot of time reworking the terrain, models, and model textures. I have also managed to achieve the application of bump mapping to nearly all in-game textures while dealing with the shader lighting effects as well. I have made this discovery...
I disabled Boris Vorontsov's ENB Shader 2.0 Mod that I have been using these past 8 months and it is shocking to see that Tiberian Dawn Redux has indeed grown into its own entity and looks almost just as good as when the Shader 2.0 Mod was enabled! Without the Shader Mod, Tiberian Dawn Redux runs easily at over 60 FPS on my computer! (It used to be around 35 FPS with the Shader 2.0 Mod Enabled) I believe the Shader 2.0 Mod allowed me to properly gauge the intensity of the effects to where they would allow me to make a standalone version of the special effects that I have added after I had implemented the Shader 2.0 Mod.
Compare for yourself with these images! They are not edited in any way!(minus changing the file size and extension type)
If the sunlight effects look too bright for you, just simply turn your brightness down in the options menu at any time and it will be just fine!
Notice the texture lighting and shadowing details on the terrain and buildings, this is thanks to my own Bump Mapping techniques, these are not C&C 3 shaders!

Looks more detailed with shader 2.0. But looks better without it. :O
