Description
Based closely on plates I have of 30 yrs war French soldiers. Mozt French pikemen were not armoured during this war. Exceptions were the guard and Vieux regiments. French light pikemen don't seem to have worne the buffcoat.
Early English pikemen and Early French heavy pikemen are the same but English count for heavy too ?
I have historical pictures that confirm the similarity of the early English and early French heavy pikemen.
