Very nice level design, it looks beautifull and interesting to play. Broken buildings, destructed interiors and ruined roads are fantastic, maybe the best destructions design in source-mods

In case anyone is still struggling with the install, here's what to do. Follow the instructions to put the custom folder into your ep2 folder (or paste what's inside the collapse subfolder into your ep2 folder). Load up Episode 2, then open the console and type "map d3_ambush_01" (no quotes).

Quick map, but massive environments. Detailed and atmospheric. Wonderfully conveys the desolate wreckage and chaos. Highly engaging.

A few too many infinite enemy fights that were designed to encourage progression, but ironically hampered it because you're hanging around on the gun emplacement mowing down Combine wondering if this will ever end.

And end it does. Abruptly and confusingly. Some great ideas on display, but needs to be more fleshed out. Definitely recommend this, despite its faults.

A short but satisfying mod with delightful war-torn aesthetics, well built combat, and professional looking level design. Its only two maps are already way better than vanilla Streetwars (or any "reduxed" streetwars I've seen). Really, really awesome and I hope it goes further beyond the 1.0 release.

Great, would be cool seeing completed, also the AI is not the best, ******* shotgunner shooting at me a cross the map

i really like it's map i want more of this.

This has what I would describe as "Valve level mapping". I give it a nine because of that and it had map logistics such as being able to climb your way up a building covered in rubble to jump into said building by just using sources' character mobility and physics. I liked how the npc's had BRAINS and didn't just let you kill them; that strider noticed you were standing next to a cache of rockets and decided to blow it up.

To the creator:
Hey man, you have some potential. I'd put these maps in some sort of a portfolio to be able to show how qualified you are for a mapping job. That's if you would want to of course.

Collapse - Map Pack - My Review

Collapse says what it is on the tin,
"City 17 streetwar themed mappack. A group of rebels have been pinned down in a street near your location, you are to move there and help them so they can advance towards the Citadel."

I really had a blast playing this mappack but there were so minor let downs.

* The first map has a strider boss battle is a little too hard

* Sometimes the enemies are a tiny bit too hard because of how they are placed around the map and the classes

* The ending is just a bit of a let down since there isn't any revelation and is a bit of an anti-climax

BUGS

The first level has an invisible combine shotgunner that nearly killed me.

The second level has a script that doesn't play unless you wait 2 minutes or noclip around. The door doesn't open to the next section.

Despite the bugs this mappack is really well made!

Definitely worth your time!
