Nice work guys.. but, even though most of us want to blast the crap out of the Nazi war machine, a lot of those weapons are amazingly over the top destruction wise. I am sure balancing will happen eventually... When all of the Nazi scum are dead!!!.. lol...
The weapons are perfectly balanced don't worry, they are based on existing guns of similar types. They looked so powerful because in most cases there were half a dozen of them. You have also got to remember that in real matches, the enemy wouldnt be so tightly packed, stationary and not firing back.

The mod is coming along great but please drop the stupid rap music it doesn't fit the theme at all. It's just annoying and unprofessional. You should make the flags on emplacements standard Soviet flags not ones with the big seal on it.
The music doesn't represent the mod, if you don't like it, turn your volume down.
Need to change the elevation of the Katyusha, otherwise all is GOOD. This mod gonna pawn the current CoH with ease.
Even a small change like that can knock us back weeks. The Katyusha is working in-game with driving animations and doesn't look terrible when firing. Thats enough for us.
Maybe you can do it in the 2nd patch. I'm not being picky but for more realism, because it just looks like they're firing from where they're hanging and doesn't look too realistic. However, it's a suggestion, whether u guys change or not, it's your deicions. :)
i recomend u to use soviet song, it called holly war. It was written on the 3rd of war. I think it will be cool!

If you're incorporating the ZiS-2, why not the ZiS-3? Or at least make it like an upgrade or something?
The ZiS-3 was modelled and skinned, but due to the modding limitations of the game we had to withdraw it.
This is a great mod, very good with the textures and abilities that each unit has. oh i was wondering is ther going to be a dog that is packed full of tnt around it because they used the dogs in russia in ww2 to take out german vehicals. This would be the russain version of the german goliath.
Its been asked a million times and the answer has always been the same... NO. We are not wasting our time animating dogs.
it wasn't tnt it was specially rigged anti tank mines, and the russians stopped using the dogs because they almost only destroyed their own tanks, wich they'd trained the dogs to run under.
the dogs were used to the looks and sound of the russian tanks so they obviously ran under them before the german ones.
therefor the russians stopped using that failed project.

Aside from the music, this video was a great I love the new support especially the sniper team very Enemy at the Gates like. But why no animation for the Katyusha and no HMG?
We wanted to add in a Maxim HMG, but its goddamn difficult to add crews to weapons, so we've kept that aside for now. The Russians are good enough without a HMG anyway. As for the Katyusha; when it was added we had very limited knowledge of Animating vehicles... now though we have a more skilled Dev team and a firing animation will probably be added in the future.

only thing im scarred of is those heavy mortars if the regular barage is that big whats the smoke going to be like...a cloud and the phosphorus is going to be like a napalm bomb
I don't see the problem... do you **** your pants when the US or Brits get out their mortars? A well placed German counter attack would put it out of action just like any other mortar.

What is the type of howitzer shown in video? I never saw before in Red Army, it looks like British one. I think, Red star on green flag for example would be better than Soviet Emblem which lies on howitzer's trench. What you think?
Currently its the British 25 Pounder, we're going to replace it soon with a Soviet M-30
