A small bug noticed: The captured zis by PE troops do not have defensive or offensive upgrades.
do you have to erase your previous version and did you add updated skins

You can delete it if you like, I don't think it's necessary. Yes, some skins were updated.

If you can can you make a patch with a battalion or squad that are called shtrafbat(Штрафбат), back then when soldiers were needed they took prisoners into a separate battalion and made them fight until they got a battlefield wound and were sent to a normal battalion. It would be very cool if a new patch would come out with this and this is historically accurate.

I just got Company of Heroes Eastern Front. But when I went to play the game it said "unable to locate Company of heroes directory." I purchased COH(vanilla, OF, and Tales of Valor) through steam. The EF mod is saved under C:\Program Files (x86)\THQ\Company of Heroes. I have a 64 bit Windows 7 OS. Any help would be great.

The "retreat to Medical truck" ability is using the same ui_postion as the booby trap ability of the partisans.

it doesn't work for me, i have just installed the game with no problem, but when I launch the launcher if EF, they tell me "Estearn Front is Up to date". I have a windows 7 32 bit, and COH OF, but he is not updated ..

Wow. The first versions were so buggy you couldn't finish a game before it crashed. Now, the launcher crashes before the game starts. I guess it saves me some time then. Thing is, I would pay $40 for it if it worked properly. Too bad.

It isn't like I haven't read the pages and pages of tech support threads on the EF site since the mod came out. In fact, I have managed to get it to run past the launcher after an hour or so of trying different solutions, re-re-re-installations, etc. But the game still locks up, just like the previous versions - every time. None of the players I know can run it long enough to complete a game. Like I said, super excited about the content, but its just not ready. It doesn't appear, from our perspective, that the basic bugs have been worked out in the first year, but we still give kudos to the attempt and we still hold out hope.

What are your pc specs?
It's weird that behaves in that way... Did you and your mates try lowering your settings?
I've played a lot of matches and only a few ones crash, from last 20 online matches i remember just one crashed, and was playing a 2vs2 skirmish(2 soviets against 2 wehr AIs). Does always crash on skirmishes or also in PvP?
Any mod that adds a lot more stuff is prone to crash in due time, because CoH engine isn't stable under that amount of data, let alone if the user barely have the requirements to run ToV, however EF needs more than ToV.
Of the 5 of us, 4 of us have tried lowering the settings, afaik.
Skirmishes crash 100% of the time. PvP doesn't always go on long enough to crash as the connection dropped about half the time - and that was never an issue for us with vanilla CoH. Crashes usually take place about 20-30 minutes in.

There is something odd with the Bergetiger. You can see the main cannon of the Tiger on it and on the wrecked Bergetiger too. Was it on purpose?

i cant update my coh:tov its says "a complete,valid company of heroes installation could not be found".i reinstall my coh but the same thing happend!!,i need it to unlock the soviet faction!!!!,btw the game always crash when i play as other factions
i just redownloaded the patches amd i still can't us the soviets
and now it's crashing as i try to pay as anybody

Try lowering your settings, Eastern Front needs more resources than ToV to run properly.
If that's not the reason, please upload your warnings.log and your dmp file of the crash(located in temp folder) to our site, in this section:

I went to the Easternfront.org because when I hit play nothing happened, and I uninstalled it but I have no idea how I can manually switch the install folder to CoH folder.
Sorry for double post but I failed big time, great mod guys keep up the great work.
