In year 2047, the alien crystal element - commonly known as "Tiberium" - began blanketing the Earth. As war continued over the past century between the European Union (EU) and the Pan Asian Coalition (PAC), Tiberium fields continued to grow, changing the course of Nature forever. The year is now 2142, and the dawn of a new Ice Age has thrown the world into a panic - a global threat that nobody has ever expected. In "Command & Conquer 2142", the two military superpowers will collide - in an epic battle for the last habitable lands. The math of this war is simple: Some will live, most will die.
Since we're almost done with the EU vehicles, we've decided to let you all have another sneak peek, this time the UD-12 Shepherd for EU! :P For you BF2142 fans, we're happy to confirm these air transports will sport **the exact same specs**, double guns and transport slots! ^^

So many good times come to mind right now...
seems good.
Nice!
very good!!!!
keep with the good work!!!
OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!
I can't wait to sneak my recons behind the enemy base and shoot all infantry!
Or use them as diversion and unload squads of infantry in the back of the base then rush with titans and tanks and gunships and OMG IT'S GOING TO BE SO EPIC!!!
Is it a infantary only airtransport or a "real" Unit (it's not flying away after unloading the troops, so you can use it also as a kind of gunship)?
yup it is a "real" unit, if you look at the description, I've made sure they kept their dual guns from BF2142, as well as its original transport capabilities. ^^
Are you going to modify the transport slightly to add vehicle carrying capability? (C&C 3 air transports had it) Or are you, somehow, going to make a different type of air transport for that?
currently, if you call for transport this is the one to send in your men (so like snipers) and vehicle drops (like APCs and FAVs). We haven't got plans on creating non-2142 units. ^^
So, when you call in an air transport for a vehicle drop, the vehicle is just magically sticking to the bottom of it? No special clamp for the air transport to carry vehicles?
isn't that the case with EA's cnc3 air transport anyways? but either way, these crafts when called in for vehicle drops do have clamps, but they're at the bottom of the craft, users won't see them clearly if at all :/
Ah, O.K then.
I love you so hard right now.
hahahahhahahaa! totally lol'd XD
