Reborn on the RNA engine, the RA2 and YR story will be relived with real time 3d graphics. We of the ConRed team are aiming to recreate the gameplay of Red Alert 2: Yuri's Revenge on the Red Alert 3 engine, with a new Yuri Campaign. Later on, we will be working on a mod that is an expansion to this one; Condition Red: Rise to Power. The setting of the mod will take place after the events of YR, with Yuri in the psyonic prison. This allows us the create a whole new story continuation, with a lot of new content.

Although it really seems to blend in all the details that you guys had on the great texture (assuming that the texture 2 images ago is the texture you used). A sharpen filter or two before you take it ingame may help, as well as defining some of that detail in the normals/spec better.
Anyway, nice stuff!

The building in the background looks blurred too, have you resized the screenshot with some odd settings?
yeah, dunno why alot of the details seem to have gone.
and the building is unskinned.
Yeah I know, it looks like the geometry is blurred in some places but it might just be the smoothing with no texture over it.

Amazing quality. I'll admit, I was a little skeptical at first about whether or not Ra2 could be put into 3d. But this has removed my doubts.

Detail on the texture getting lost in-game is a common problem with both CnC3 and RA3. The best way to combat this problem, I've found, is to sharpen the contrast between light and dark colors on the diffuse map.
Probably due to the crazy shaders, I'm assuming?

No.
ConRed will not be haveing any special abilities (unless needed to recreate RA2 gameplay)
