catw 1.2 Samniti Bello file - classical age total war 0.5 mod for Rome: Total War

This mod is based on catw 1.1 and catw 2.0, mixing features from both mods, for Rome:Total War with the Alexander extension (1.9), but it also works on the basic RTW 1.5 or BI (Barbarian Invasion) 1.6

Features:

• Mundus Magnus Map with 200 regions, with some modifications
• Prometheus' strat cities and new colonial system (player-created towns)
• Roma Surrectum II vegetation
• Modified Medieval TW animations
• Darth AI and formations
• 500+ historically accurate units with super-HD skins and new models
• 140 historical battles +150 custom battle maps
• New buildings
• New factions: Massilia, Bosporan Kingdom, Arverni, Sauromatae, Samnites, Epirus, Illyrians, etc.
• New navies
• New 300 BC timescale with brand new positions for all factions
• powerful independent factions (all playable as "eleutheroi") like the saka rauka, yuezhe, boians, mauryans, numidians, garamantians, meroits, etc

Installation:

CATW 1.2 is Fully compatible with STEAM (reworked from scratch for this in 2017).

1- Verify you have a fresh (unmodded) RTW 1.5/BI 1.6 or Alex 1.9 RTW version.
2- Unzip the catw05 file
3a- Place the file into your own Alexander directory, ie C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Rome Total War Alexander\catw05
3b- Place the file into your own RTW/BI directory, ie C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Rome Total War Gold\catw05
4- Use the shortcut inside catw folder, just put it on your desktop

For STEAM users: Go to Steam, on the Alexander TW properties, then "Set Launch Options", then paste: -nm -show_err -mod:catw05 -noalexander
The mod will start each time you launch Alexander on STEAM.
On RTW/BI same story but -nm -show_err -mod:catw05 -movie_cam

Note: The folder is called "catw05" for those who operates other versions or catw (like catw 2.0) alongside.+
