This is a full conversion Tolkien mod for Crusader Kings 2 which will feature bookmarks throughout the Third Age. This mod is being developed independently from any other LotR or Middle Earth mods out there. The map will cover the main areas of Middle Earth, known in the books and films. So, Middle-Earth is waiting for you! Will you play as the descendant of one of the noble families of Rohan or Gondor? Will you try to reforge the ancient kingdoms of Elves in Eriador? Or will you try to destroy all the Free Peoples, and claim Middle Earth for Morgoth? This mod will give you a unique strategy experience of the Third Age in Middle-Earth. I added the mod in the paradox file. When i try pick the character and press play after the loading it crashes everytime. Anyone help? |

It crashes because you're trying to use the mod with Crusader Kings version 2.3. This will cause the game to crash to desktop if you try and play when you select character. The mod clearly states that it only works with version 2.2.1. If you have the steam version of Crusader Kings 2 you can downgrade to this by right clicking on 'Crusader Kings 2" in your steam library. Select properties. Select the beta tab. Use the drop down menu on the beta screen to select 2.2.1 Old Version. Allow Crusader Kings 2 to 'update'. You should probably disable the 'Way of Life' DLC as the mod wouldn't have been patched for that DLC. Obviously this will take out features which have come in with 2.3/Way of Life. Hi i have 2.2.1 but every time i play i can only play for 17 game days before a blank event pops up i have steam, and i put the mod files in steam/steamapps/common/crusaderkings2/mods. I would love some help with this. And i dont have the way of life dlc |
