Or will you try to destroy all the Free Peoples, and claim Middle Earth for Morgoth? This mod will give you a unique strategy experience of the Third Age in Middle-Earth. From Forodwaith to Bellakar, from Lindon to Rhûn, lead your dynasty and survive the Dark Times. Become one of the most important Lords of the Age!

I love this mod and I've been playing around as the Elves. However, there are several issues with playing as the Elves, at the moment it's pointless to play as an Elf.

  1. First, I cannot colonise the wilderness and pursue fabricated claims, the only way I can create kingdoms or empires is if I'm playing as Lindon (through de jure claims) or if I attack kingdoms owned by people with the "Corrupted by Darkness" trait or I make the decision to surrender to the forces of evil (makingyour vassals declare independence because as Elves they don't want to side with Sauron).
  2. Second, because Elves are immortal, it's nearly impossible to make alliances, and because of the racial differences I can't make marriage alliances with the Men or the Dwarves, therefore there should be an option that allows Guardians of Middle-Earth to assist each other. I played as Lothlorien and I watched Gondor getting overrun by the Orcs and Ringwraiths because I don't have the option to help them even though I have 30k Noldorin troops that I patiently and carefully raised (without cheats). Now half of the map are Orcs and logistically it doesn't make sense to conquer them unless they're a neighbouring territory.
  3. Third, Elves should allow females as councillors, it doesn't make sense that they're not allowed as councillors despite the fact that some of the most powerful Elves were women, like Galadriel and Luthien.
  4. Fourth, there should be something done with all the long-lived characters because this causes performance issues as the game progresses.
