This is a full conversion Tolkien mod for Crusader Kings 2 which will feature bookmarks throughout the Third Age. This mod is being developed independently from any other LotR or Middle Earth mods out there. The map will cover the main areas of Middle Earth, known in the books and films. I've been playing as Arthedain from the kinstrife start and managed to unite Arnor, with only a few regions of Rhudaur missing. As soon as I started conquering parts of Angmar, I started getting invasions of 6-15k orcs that happen all the time, it's a neve rending stream, I probably have already fought off 100 or more, and it' starting to get really frustrating. There are strange defensive pacts against me. Every time I try and attack the Witch King, Elrond and Cirdan and some Dwarves will fight me on his side. I'd understand separate defensive pacts for Elves, Men, Orcs and Dwarves etc, this is just immersion breaking. Edited by: Ealdwulf |

Happened to me and I had to deactivate the defensive pact options :/ About the invasions if you have most of arnor territories you should have no problem in rekting them, if I'm not mistaken you win plenty of gold if you defeat the invasion. It is annoying ofc but for me at least it gets boring when I have more than 2 years of peace. |

Never got any gold from defeating them, but I did defeat every single one and went on to destroy the orcs of the misty mountains, so they would stop. I still had to kill around 1000000 orcs. |
