Hi download the 05B version and extract from the rar file just the "job_action" and "job_title" folder. (You'll find they in \MiddleEarthProject Beta\common) After you extract, copy and paste they in the mod folder.

Thank you ;)

How would one change the values for colonization? I personally don't like the whole 20 years thing, and would like to shorten it to 10 or 5. Any help please?

The file you are looking for is in events/MEP_wilderness.txt. Use ctr + H to search for the event "colonisation.1" there is a modifier in this events that looks like this:

mean time_to_happen = {
m /> }

You can adjust the number of months to whatever you like. This is a average, on average it takes 120 months to colonize, sometimes less or more. Good luck!

I have other problem, with which i hope you can help. I am playing 0.6b version with the republic, legacy of rome and the old gods dlcs. I've copied the "job_action" and "job_title" folders from 0.5 version and that enabled me to colonise province. After waiting butthurting 18 years event popped up saying "that province was colonised..." but there are no options on the popup event card to click on so I can't even unpause the game. Please help.

When that happens, that usually means there is a missing "}" somewhere in the event that has activated.

TLDR: Find event #, Find event, Add "}" back in, Profit??

First, save the game when that event appears and UNCHECK the "compress game data" next the text box where you put in the name of the save. Next, once you have saved the now uncompressed version of the game, go to:

Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings II\Middleearthproject\save games

You should see your save there, open it up with any text editor (notpad++ preferred) and scroll to the bottom, you should see something that looked like:

player_event=
{
id=30
event="6040"
days=0
scope=
{
char=3248
seed=1116062227
random=1116062227
}
primary=yes
}

We are interested in the (event="6040") part of this, NOTE: the event=# part will be different for you. That event number is the event that is causing the problem, copy that number and go to the mod folder at:

Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings II\mod\MiddleEarthProject Beta\events

Once here you can use CTR+H or the search bar for Win7 to find the event number you copied. The event in question is probably missing a "}" somewhere in the event itself. Add the "}" back in and save the file and if you did it in the right place, you will have options on that event when you load the game back up.

Hope this helps, it's usually a pretty easy fix but figuring out which "}" is missing can be a pain, good luck!
