Was the background image updated?! :0
Yep indeed! I got rid of that TCW-2008 clone image ( Deviantart.com )! Since the mod isn't focusing on TCW (2008-CGI) anymore.
I wanted to have some Imperial stuff + the feeling of free fresh air ;D
Unfortunately I don't know who is the author of this magnificent background/wallpaper, it was uploaded 5 years ago on the internet.
Looks great! π
Lookin good

amazing!!
I'd be nuts to think this was an in-game shot right? The mod can't look this good surely?
It actually can look like in the wallpaper, at least a bit.
Most of the 3D models used here are released on the internet, for example the Interdictor cruiser, it's a nice coincidence that I use the exact same model: Moddb.com
So yeah models wouldn't be a problem, however the major issue would be the clouds. Clouds in swbf 2 can't be affected by any light because they are just simple moving textures (which means no bump map like the pink-orange clouds for example).
And lastly the planet and the deathstar thing is definitely possible.
I remember how excited I was when I first saw that Interdictor, so many mods ignore improving space assets as well as grounds assets and I love that you guys are giving them the attention they deserve
It would be amazing if the interdictor frigate was rezised to be large and have the bottom double sided hangars with tie fighters and defenders
