I think you should think of a different way to represent the tier of a unit in it's icon. Like, maybe a different background. Or maybe T1 unit's icon's have a dim red glow and maybe T3 units have a purple glow. (On their units)

It looks fine imo, Its crisp, easy to see and the background contrasts well with it.
I kinda think it's a bit ugly-looking and it's a bit distracting. But I guess that's just me.

Btw next version has fixed Random Map Generator.
You will see working bridges, civilian slider and lifeforms options again.
The problem were the additional factions which broke those logics from the generator. The exe is now hacked to use the proper new values. This is possible thanks to Iran from PPM site.
Except that Iran is an outsider at PPM. He's the CnCNetv5 spawner creator, just sayin'. :P
