C&C: ShockWave is an enhancement mod for C&C Generals: Zero Hour. The main goal of this mod is to make Zero Hour a more interesting game with more diversity between the generals, making you think twice before you select a certain general, and overall provide more choices, diversity, and strategic freedom than in Zero Hour - while keeping the spirit and design direction of the original Generals game and storyline.

Alright Shockwave fans, time for another media update! Gather round, and check out them goodies!

After numerous pleas, beggings, curses and death threats for us to release 0.92 we've decided to give you one or two last media updates, before the actual release.

This time, you'll get to see a few of the new units introduced in the upcoming 0.92 version of the mod.

First off, the USA Skycrane helicopter, which is for the Airforce General. It basically serves as a secondary base construction / repair unit, and is highly mobile (unlike the standard dozers). Its main purpose is to set up remote outposts, on locations that dozers can't reach, or can't reach fast enough. However, it requires a Strategy Center in order to be build, so there won't be any nasty early-game rushes with these guys.

Secondly, the R.A.D. Tank. What the mysterious acronym stands for remains (logically) a mystery, for now. It is General Tao's replacement for the unfitting Dragon Tank, and instead of spraying flames it fires highly concentrated bursts of unstable, radioactive clouds. It has two secondary functions: The first, Expose Core, opens up the flaps on the back of the tank which allows radiation to spread in a wide area around it. The second attack, Drop Core, simply ejects the reactor core, which will become unstable and violently explode after a while. However, this takes a time to reload, and the RAD Tank can't attack while it's replacing its reactor.

The Toxin Marauder, owned by Dr. Thrax ofcourse. It is the regular Marauder's demented twin brother, and packs quite a bit of (toxic) punch. When salvaging it upgrades itself with two special launchers, which fire volatile globs of pure chemicals over quite some distance. Infantry columns, beware of this hybrid anti-infantry and anti-tank weapon!

Well, that was about it for now. Stay tuned for more media, and remember: Good things come to those with patience!

Deathstrike out.
