It has been a very long time since I had anything to post news about. AND I'm afraid I don't have any progress to show, new pics, or videos. Nothing like that.
No, this post is regarding someone named lolzzz992. who joined the BWL discord and asked me some questions today.

So yes, we have someone that is going to start working on the project again. But he can't do it alone.
Recruitment Effort
If you want to help out, contact us. We will need most roles including modeling, mapping, sound work, coding, etc. We have some stuff to work with, but it would be good to get more new content.

If you can't help with GoldSource, but you would like to help with Source then let us know that too. lolzzz992 is considering a switch to Source if there was interest and it would make recruiting easier. Even if he dedicates this run to GoldSource, we do have plans for a Source version and ideally a part 2 in Source so we could still use the help.

Finally today, I want to thank everyone that has stuck with this project for so long. It really has taken far longer then it ever should have. I only wish we could have done more sooner, but life does get in the way more often then not.
I would encourage you all to show support for lolzzz992 in this effort as it can be a daunting challenge and this is a positive step that should breath some life into this project.
By all means, thank you lolzzz992 for stepping forward to helm this project now. We needed it.

Basically.
lolzzz992 wants to try to finish it at least up to a light version release. Ideally, we can get him some help to make the process a little easier and more productive.
But on that front only time will tell. Whatever the case, I've set up a couple of private and hidden channels in the discord for the Cat-Life team to organize and I've typed up a bunch of my story info and dug up a bunch of older files I thought I had lost.
So, lolzzz992 should be off to a reasonable start with a decent set of info and resources.
