Carnevale Cape Replacer v1
TextureA mod to replace nearly all cape textures to the one used during Sequence 9 (Carnevale).
I've seen people on some forums wishing that they were able to keep the Carnevale Cape (worn by Ezio in Sequence 9). So here is a texture replacer, several years late. All it does is replace Plain, Medici and Venice cape textures with the Carnevale Cape's texture. (Auditore Cape not included because I couldn't find a save file with it or actually be bothered with finding all the feathers.) UPDATE: I AM CURRENTLY COLLECTING FEATHERS.

sweat help me how i copy all the archives i can solo take 1 for put
Sorry, could you rephrase that?
When I click Main>Start Game Through UMod and select AssassinsCreedIIGame.exe,I get an application error named:
Steam Error
Application load error 5:0000065434
How do I fix this?
(And I tried with ticked Use Global Hook)
Sorry for the late reply.
That's strange, I've never gotten that message before. I've looked it up, and it seems that UMod/TexMod doesn't work unless you do some stuff with it. Here are some links, they might help:
Social.bioware.com
Steamcommunity.com
Even with that, AC II crashes. I do beleive it's linked to d3d9.dll, one of the files required to run uMod.
Do you think you could make it a .tpf file? This way I could use it with the AC II Overhaul. Though Texmod doesn't work with ACII, OpenTexMod does work. I have the files if you need them.
nvm
I didn't put d3d9.dll in the AC2 directory
i downloaded the file, unzipped it, then copied and pasted it in the game's folder along with all the other data. Still wont work for some reason.
You don't need to paste it into the game's folder (though you can just for convenience). Also, could you explain what isn't working?
The texture replacement for the cape wont show in game for me.
Have you clicked the 'Update' button in the uMod window?
how do i get umod? i cant find it.
It's in the 'uMod_v1_r44' folder. Have you read the 'README' file, by the way?
Okay i have figured out how to get to step 5 (opening the game through uMod) but whenever i try to do that, AC2 crashes. uMod still recognizes the game but the "Open Texture Pack"-"Update Reload" buttons are unavailable because the game isn't open.
Strange. Have you pasted 'd3d9.dll' to the game directory?
Yep. idk why it crashes as soon as i start it. I can see the texture pack and update buttons become available but it immediately becomes unavailable.
I think I might've made a mistake with the instructions. Before you launch the game, click 'Main', and make sure 'Use global hook' is ticked.
still not working.
Try this mod: Moddb.com
See if that mod works.
I'll be offline for a while.
