Basically this mod will just adjust the units and gameplay of FoC to make it more canon to Star Wars lore. At the moment it will only be space. This means all ships will be rescaled and the amounts and types of weapons will be increased in order to try and bring them to spec. This is not meant to balance the game, but to make it more "realistic". There will be no fancy new ships or stunning new graphics (yet), just a difference in gameplay that will hopefully mimic the style and action of the films.
The X-Wing atmospheric fighter for the Rebels. It is armed with four reapid-fire laser cannons and a proton torpedo launcher. It is capable of engaging both ground and air targets effectively. It is capable of engaging the Acclamator with limited success, but since it costs significantly less, it can win with numbers. It flies above most AA fire, increasing its survivability.

I know this is kind of ambitious but its just some ideas. I'e always liked using spaceships on land......
Thanks for the input. Right now the only ones with assault ships will be the empire, as they were usually the ones attacking planets, and the rebels were defending. Also, the only ground ships will be assault ships, that can land and deploy forces in a ground battle. Will maybe add ties for empire, but only deployed from the acclamator. Don't worry about the imps being too op though, the xwings are cheap enough that they can deal with one in numbers. Any ideas for the zc though? Keeping in mind they are only a pirate, quick-in, quick-out force.
z-95 for zc, or maybe using small corvettes? just an idea
I think ZC should get Skiprays, maybe Starvipers. Their larger ships probably aren't designed for atmospheric combat.
