Once again, we revisit the underworld of aperture science but there’s Combine invading the facility. GLaDOS has grown and evolved since we last saw her, she has developed a taste for something beyond the lab. She desires the call of exploration, there’s a whole multiverse out there and testing needs to be done. But for us to truly understand this change in her we have to go back 48 hours. Go back to when an unexpected protagonist re-awakens in the company of an old mutual acquaintance.

Okay this coming wednesday, I will hopefully get some actual work done on this MOD.... I have been hindered by my computer being trapped in another castle and my attention else where on family issues.

Sorry, I think I have miss interpreted the summary do you mean when Chell "escaped" in portal 1 or at the end of two? Anyway, I actually got the time wrong from when portal 2 starts, in the interactive book Portal 2 Final Hours (made by Valve) that details the history of the making the game one of the dev says to differentiate the new game and half-life they set it 50,000 years in the future witch is why everything is all overgrown.
Is the whole mod just dev textures?

I'm not sure you quite understand the lore right. Portal 2 takes 20,000 years after half-life 2 so Chell and GLaDOS would still be asleep when your mod takes place. But it is a good concept for a mod.

I'm not doubting it hasn't been said but I have heard a few numbers being thrown around. . . Personally I have a peeve of some lore channels on YouTube that seem to be under the impression that Glados Gassed the scientists AS SOON AS she was first booted up as GLaDOS but Portal 2 clearly makes that not to be the case from the whole additional cores being made to control her story line.
This is clearly a MOD as I doubt my ideas will be picked up by Valve anytime soon. I'm not that well connected.
