Twenty-five years after the Black Mesa incident and three years after Chell left the ‘relative safety’ of the Aperture Laboratories. Once again, we revisit the underworld of aperture science but there’s Combine invading the facility. GLaDOS has grown and evolved since we last saw her, she has developed a taste for something beyond the lab. She desires the call of exploration, there’s a whole multiverse out there and testing needs to be done. But for us to truly understand this change in her we have to go back 48 hours. Go back to when an unexpected protagonist re-awakens in the company of an old mutual acquaintance.
A parody of sorts on the real world equivelant of the OICW a weapon produced to replace various rifles. I get a perverse geeky chuckle out of the idea of Aperture being that company funding so much into a device over 30-40 years and the end result not being up to par. . . . This would result in some interesting game-changing dynamics and how you will need to strategically use the weapon instead of spray and pray tactics.
I don't want to say too much but hopefully, if I ever get this off the ground it will be humorous, fun as well as engaging to play with.
