Since you really need all this, you will have to drive there, hoping that there is still someone to let you enter... if not this will be an illegal entrance. This will take two minutes and then you'll be back home for dinner.

FT will not start!

Go into the FT installation folder and do this quick manipulation.


Linux start 01
⬆ Right click on each Linux launcher, select "Properties".


Linux start 02
⬆ Check that permissions are set like in this example and check "Allow executing file as program".


Linux start 03
⬆ Right click on the launcher and select "Run as a Program".


Alternatively, you can download FT on Steam [here], this way no tweaking is needed.
Use a fresh installation of Amnesia: TDD of course; then just start it from there!


I want to reset the visual mode to "Old-school"!

Go into the following folder and remove the main_settings.cfg file.


Linux Old-school
⬆ Path by default is "Home/.frictionalgames/Amnesia/Fordbidden_Trip".
