Version 1.2 has been released and comes with a large amount of additions, balance changes and bug fixes. It adds a never seen skirmish mode in Black & White 2, God's playground and a new difficulty-system.
So here is the full changelog:
Additions
- Skirmish Mode introduced with a 2 player and a 3 player map
with 3 different difficulties with 4 different difficulties
- In skirmish you face opponent gods, all with different strategies depending on their alignment
- Added Gods Playground
- From Gods Playground you can access all skirmish related stuff and change the campaign difficulty
- Added 5 difficulties for the campaign
- Peaceful: Enemy epics will take a very long time to charge, enemy barely recruits attack units, enemy platoons are much smaller, slightly decreased needed impressiveness
- Easy: Enemy epics will take a long time to charge, enemy recruits less units, enemy platoons are smaller, standard needed impressiveness
- Normal: Enemy epics will take a decent time to charge, enemy recruits many units, standard needed impressiveness
- Hard: Redux standard with some adjustments, slightly increased needed impressiveness
- Very Hard: Enemy epics will charge faster, enemy recruits many units, enemy platoons are much larger, slightly increased needed impressiveness
- Added new weather scripts
Balance
- Adjusted balance values for norse/japanese/aztec buildings
- Increased starting mana of the player in the last aztec land
- Lowered initial maximum mana to 40.000
- Decreased mana costs of meteor wonder to 9.000
- Decreased mana a villager generates when praying (only altar, not epics)
- The player can now generate mana with 2 new ways:
- When being evil each captured town generates mana
- When being good the amount of villagers the player has generates mana
- While being neutral both ways are possible
- Increased impressiveness the player needs on all lands when the player beats the aztecs for the first time
Fixes
- Fixed tribute reward for conquering the land appearing too late when being good in the first aztec land
- Fixed unknown dialogue in the last japanese land
- Fixed evil advisor dialogue a bit cut off in the intro of the first aztec land
- Fixed german dialogue in english version
- Fixed wrong version number in credits
- Fixed an issue where armories wouldn't effect the platoon level in some cases
- Fixed multiple bugs with "persistent data". For example sometimes the game forgot the land-4-conversion-method which resulted into it playing the wrong dialogue in the land 6 outro
- Several other bug fixes
