I just took a quick glance at some of the pictures. Lights might be a bit too colorful for Quake but otherwise it looks nice. Those are the QRP textures, right?

I didn't recognize any of the original game's environments. Are the maps at least partly inspired by id's game or are they all brand new, original levels?

You should be more mindful of how you use some of the textures vs. how they were used by id. Case in point: the runic door texture you used on that pillar in pics #82-84 was used strictly as a door texture in the original game. It feels weird to see it placed on any other object.

Yeah, I think this is a missed opportunity too, but oh well... At least it's my all-time favorite game, playable in my other favorite game! So that's cool.

At any rate, you can make your own BrĂ¼tal Quake of sorts, using Seven's SMC with your own personalized tweaks in the DarkPlaces engine (should also work with FTE but the mod was designed for DP).
