The HP Scanjet 4C scanner from 1995-1996 had a design document released describing much of the engineering behind it. One part of this was a metal plate on the bottom added for ESD protection. The weird part though, is they *named* it the "Big Metal Plate" or BMP. Given the when the scanner would have been designed, this felt like a reference to the BFG. So I made a WAD to reskin the BFG as the BMP as a joke to take it full circle.
