Lord of the Rings mod for Medieval 2 Total War. The mod is a conversion of Divide and Conquer Submod to the Second Age period
I cannot stress how good it feels to come back to this mod page after a few days to see more and new units posted in the screenshots section. Keep it up man! Almost finished. I can't wait.
i have some doubts though if I should continue the second age mod or not (and focus only on the third age patch). Last Alliance for Shogun 2 seems much more promising for the numenorean age
aww, i really wanted to start out in the isle of Numenor. ever since you posted that image of all those city models on the island was i so excited to play as them
I do prefer the third age, but it your decision, it must be hard after you did so many units and stuff , i think you are right to go for third age.
That is mostly only for the Last Alliance and prologue to it, not the rise of Numenor, and to be honest that mod is likely very far away since there will be lots of extra work for their team to do on Shogun 2's engine. I really think you should keep it up on the Second Age mod if you have the will to. Med 2 is a far better platform for a 2nd Age project as you have lots of custom skeletons and animations at your disposal.
After all, it's your second try with it so I hope you can succeed this time.
Whatever he decides its all his choice, but maybe if he is burnt out and hasnt got much time to finish it, it would be smarter to go for a dac submod since its much smaller and he did a lot of job already and then after see how is the situation.
Wish him good luck on everything, really want to see something released from all this amazing work.
I would love to have helped him out but alas, so many other projects on my plate. :-(
If he keeps around the files to send to a future modder or uploads them somewhere, someone else can continue the work giving him credit and finishing what he started, if he decides to abandon the Second Age project.
