This mod also works with Company of Heroes and/or Tales of Valor. Opposing Fronts is not required! There are many features that I added, for example: - a much more realistic Weapon damage system - many new skins for infantry and tanks (and wrecks) also including many of my own made tank skins - many new units for all factions - modified and enlarged Commander Trees (now 16 Upgrades!) - new abilities - new sounds - recommended new maps included

Don`t be afraid; this will not delay the final release of v4.5. But I thought this will be a nice litte toy for CW player to rip some german grenadier squads ;)

Really good job guys, i love it, Congratulation!! i have some question about it:

1)What is the cost per unit of these tanks?

2)Have they similar power and cost than the M24 Chaffee?

3)Is it available in every doctrine?

Thank you so much Mr Xalibur

Seems to me that your Grenadiers are much weaker than mine. I have worked my Grennies over a little bit. Now they rock and kick *****... Muhahahahahaha

Can we expect the normal crusader aswell??

Why do you want the normal crusader? it has a 40 or 49 mm armor and 40 or 57mm main gun.

The Churchille has 105 or 125mm armor and 75mm main gun ,The Cromwell has 76mm armor and 75mm main gun and the M4 Sherman has 64mm armor and 75mm main gun. they are better against germans light tanks.

I think this tank (crusader) will be excellent against infantry, for this reason they prefer put the 20mm canons.

Not saying it will, I am just someone who enjoys and mod.

It would be nice, I mean the Stuart lacks AP value that even 2pdrs gets and the Crusader has more armour.

The regular Crusader tanks didn't see service in Normandy. They were replaced by the Cromwell & Sherman.

Well the Tetrarch never had a 76mm howitzer attached, nor was the Pershing at Normandy.

This mod isn't N44.

"When the Tetrarch was re-designated as an airborne tank, several changes were made to its design. A number of tanks had their 2 pounder guns replaced with a 76.2-millimetre (3.00 in) infantry support howitzer; these tanks were then designated as Tetrarch 1 CS (Close Support). Additionally, Littlejohn adaptors were added to those Tetrarchs which still possessed their 2 pounders to increase their muzzle velocity and armour penetration.[4]"

Cited from the wikipedia page which has the reference there if you'd like to investigate.

And saying Normandy was my mistake. What I meant was, the developers at one stage said they'd only add it if it saw service on the western front.

It wasn't used in 1944. But it was used in North Africa. Moddb.com

It was actually used to tow AT guns and artillery for some occasions, as for combat, I'm not 100% sure.

You're wrong on the armour values. Crusader was usually 51mm at the thickest. Churchill, depending on the variant, was either 89mm or 152mm. Sherman varied, some later variants being 102mm and some even 146mm. Cromwell depended on the variant, some had 76mm some had 102mm.

You also need to take the roles into account. Don't compare the Sherman and Churchill to the Crusader because they are different kind of tanks, the sherman being a medium tank and the churchill being an infantry tank. Both are slower than the Cromwell and Crusader cruiser tanks, which being of the same class, can be compared. And it is true, the crusader is inferior to the cromwell, it is slower, has less firepower and is less armoured. But keep in mind it came earlier and didn't even see action in 1944.

I am disappointed by this way, P-IV, AuaF (1941), Ferdinand (1943-45, Russia) and now Crusader (Africa). next will be a mouse?

The variant of Crusader DID see action on the western front and so did the short barrel Panzer IV in limited numbers. The Ferdinand however, is not even in this mod.

BK is not stricly limited to the Normand part of the western front. We cover the whole western front until 1945 (Italy anyone?). Ferdinand (or in our case "Elefant" to be more precise) units had also been used there, not only in Russia.

If BK would focus on the fights in France/Normandy only you would see a lot less units in BK.

Absolutely useless vehicle, very poor damage =(

IamABrony

It does poor damage because it is meant to be an AA or anti-infantry tank so it does not have the larger tank guns, and even if it did it would be completely useless unless used in large numbers against panzers.
