this is definitely an improvement from hl1. most likely, it is going to operate like the combine turrets in hl2. however, can you do me a favor? you know the bullet tracers from hl2 for the combine turret? use it, it is the bluish thing, but it looks really good.

Model looks great. Only thing I would change is adding the catch to the bolt lock, and the bolt lock switch its self seeing as how the player is going to have a real good view of the back.
gonna be an actual ammo counter for it and a limited ammo supply, so you can't just light up an entire area, you have to get a target out into the open and light em up.
