Bionicle Heroes: Myths of Voya Nui: 2.0 Release!
Landmark update (hence the version change) which features vertex editing for the first time within MOVN, as well as further gameplay improvements and many graphical additions. As always, runs standalone - download and run the .exe to play! Truncated changelog:
Visual
-Vezon is more set accurate with shoulder armour, back cape and revised body textures
-Toa weapons at level 3 are all more consistently canon correct with colouration of silver/dark silver accents
-Piraka splash screens have been modified to retain worldmodel edits
-Vezon's player weapon made more accurate
-Rahkshi colours more set accurate
-Nidhik's head model in Mountain3 made consistent with the modified full model
Gameplay
-Piraka turnspeed made to be 1.5 to be consistent with Toa
-Hewkii recoil removed entirely
Sound
-Kongu bullet SFX fixed (Level 2 was using Level 1 sound entry before and Level 3 was using level 2)
Misc
-Compatibility patches have been released for all other character mods existing at the time of release - Silver Toa, Makuta, Irnakk, and Voriki - which will allow you to play these characters in MOVN
-Unlockchars made consistent with levels (unlocking the right archive entries depending on region e.g. Gahlok unlocked in Water levels, Nuurahk unlocked in Fire levels)
HOTFIX 6TH MAY 2022 TO 2.01:
To work, you must delete all saves (and if that doesn't resolve the issue, all saves and and all versions of Bionicle Heroes on your computer), then redownload this release.
-Re-arranged how the modified unlockchars work to fix an issue with silver canisters not unlocking properly
-Fixed cutscenes in water2
