Biohazardous is a third person mystery adventure MOD - based on the Source Engine. I'm not only trying to recreate the original atmosphere encountered in classical survival-horror games alá Resident Evil. What I also want is to give this genre a new charme along with some pretty newer gameplay ideas combined with a mysterious, puzzle-filled story line. And yes, there are zombies out there!

I'd add a laser sight to make it easier to see where you are aiming, because of the camera angles.

Also I'd make it so you can't walk while aiming, only rotate, you have to sort of point the gun down and turn off the laser sight to move again. It would feel a little clunky but it would also reinforce the helpless survival horror style.

I thought about this, too. Maybe I'll add an option to toggle on/off laser sight. Remember, this is early work in progress, the animations are not as smooth as they should be and there will be an option for auto aim. (If you hit the aim button, the character will automaticly face to the nearest enemy in his angle) just like the original RE.

I've redone the whole aiming thing yesterday and now you're not able to walk while aiming. So, yes it's already implemented. :)

Description

This is an aiming system, well known from the Resident Evil series:
-> Hit and hold a key to aim
-> You can't shoot without aiming
-> You can't walk while aiming

and you can't survive this zombie apocalypse!
