Bellum Imperii is an complete overhaul modification for M&B: Warband. It represents ancient Europe and parts of Africa and Asia during Marcus Aurelius reign of the Roman Empire.
Working on new possibilities for the player (You) to start rebellions in certain area's. Like Greece, Macedonia and Gaul as examples. How they will be triggered and under what conditions are yet to be decided and worked out.
Although perhaps not historically accurate, this will give the player the chance to bring those defeated nations back to power with their own unique troops.
Feedback on this idea is appreciated!
i like where this is going
Ehehehe that would be awesome :D maybe the new rebel factions you create could be historical factions for that region, factions that have risen after the Empire fell
I like the idea

Awesome idea - here is how you could do that:
You conquer the "main city" of a region under Roman oppression and get a dialog to restore the faction which was originally there - then it would give your kingdom the troop trees of the faction(which were previously unavailable) and name your kingdom after that faction - also it would give you the flag, a few lords as vassals which were "exiled" before and maybe a small army.
Optional of course.
Not sure how hard this would be to script though.
oh please do this with a possible lusitanian faction in the iberian and north african roman faction, it's my dream
