Battlefield Heroes 42 is a conversion Mod of the famous Cartoon Shooter Battlefield Heroes. It is made by "Apache Thunder". He finished it at summer 2014. As a special feature, it still built purely "Avatar Star" in BF Heroes 42 Mod, because it fit so well together.
This is a really cool mod! It looks and feels great. It's brings back alot of good memories and is pretty much perfect at that, but it runs way too slowly, on my older computer(the only one with BF1942 on it) runs this mod at around 16 fps, and that's way to slow for good play-ability. Another thing is that the weapons lack reloading animations. Probably the biggest problem is that like half the maps crash upon loading. I tried a reinstall of the game multiple times, but got the same result. This is a great mod, but it needs a few updates to be perfect.
It's awesome conversion!! It has lightmapping, detailed ground texture, EVEN soldier meshes are new. Thats insane!! Well done Apache...
