Battlefield 1918 is a total conversion modification for Battlefield 1942. The mod takes Battlefield 1942 into a whole new scenario, the first world war. Next to historically correct equipments and vehicles, we try to recreate the atmosphere of these WW1 battlefields as close as we can, keeping in mind the game we're working with. To achieve this, we've drastically changed the gameplay from the original game like so that you must now rely on teamwork, artillery, trenches and slow vehicles....

The re-introducing of our classical Sunday Night Games also known as SNG has begun and for this we would like to welcome everybody on our server on every Sunday at 8 P.M. CET. Plus everyone who is hungering for attention gets his or her personal chance to achieve this now.

First of all and to cultivate our beloved good manners we are very pleased to wish all of you a belated 'Happy New Year' and we hope you arrived very well in 2011. Marvelous to see you again, indeed!


But now let's come to the real business ladies and gentleman.

As the new year has already started we would like to celebrate the year of the final 3.1 release with the re-introducing of a glorious and very famous tradition well-known by all B1918-veterans:

Sunday Night Games

From now on until the final release and far beyond we would like to invite everybody to a comfortable battle in the evenings of every Sunday at 8 P.M. CET with all your friends, wannabe-archenemies and the developers. The chosen place for this fight will be the pleasent setting of our official server:

But this is not all of course because every single event will take place under the banner of either a notorious or legendary person of the community who has rendered outstanding services to Battlefield 1918. From infamous clan leaders, valuable contributors or supporters and members of the development team through to you! If you think you deserve the honor to be the patron for one of these events and be talked of you only need to meet 3 simple conditions:


1st Be awesome enough. (Very important!)
2nd Think up 7 of your favorite maps.
3rd Send us your list either via PM, at Inside1918.net or in the comments.
