Уверен что игра замечательная. Но. Но думаю, что пора бы уже переходить на движок Battlefield 2 (Frostbay enigme 3). Возьмите пример с создателей Forgotten Hope которые тоже начинали свой путь с BF1942, а теперь они почти каждый месяц проводят ивенты по +100 игроков в своей второй именной игре на базе Bqattlefield 2. В общем, пора расти и развиваться дальше. С уважением ваш русскоязычный фанат BF1918 :)
Как не менее русскоязычный разработчик могу ответить, что для перехода на новый движок требуется много сил и времени. Учитывая малочисленность нашей команды и разработку на полном энтузиазме, данная операция маловероятна. Слишком много было вложено в 1942, чтобы начать всё с нуля на неизвестном движке. Прошлая команда совершила критическую ошибку, когда разделилась на тех, кто доделывал мод на старый движок и тех, кто перешёл на новый. В итоге и на новом ничего не вышло и на старом всё заглохло. Спасибо хоть 3.1 собрали и релизнули. Так что мы уже староваты для всего этого дела, а если кто-то вдруг надумает перенести мод на новый движок, то мы будем только рады, но делать это они будут уже без нас.

If you mean installing a mod, then everything is simple: just drag the bf1918 and bf1919 folders into the mods folder, which is located in the main Battlefield 1942 folder. Then you need to connect the mod in the game menu in the custom game section.
