How will this work exactly, will you have to have lots of tanks or will there be a special feature for tanks to force enemies to surrender like in Arnhem, oh and will fully tropps at full veterancy retreat aswell ? or just the rokkies ?

I could imagine a technical approach..mortar round that clears the FoW like a scouting plane...but:
CoHs system unfortunately is not able to differentiate between night and day.And in daytime, that really doesnt make sense.
I think that battle of the hedges has managed this.
honestly, i am just toying around with an old script by MuaDib, dont know if it will make it inside the mod.
The script makes pinned squads surrender, when loosing too much men.
Dont think it makes a difference between rookies and veterans.
Nevertheless, a refreshing idea. I hope you can make a go of it matey.

Realisitc armour Damage/Penetration check so those shermans blow up when shot at, and that tigers blows up when cought from behind

thats nonsense, sorry. All formations of german troops, be it Waffen SS, Volksgrenadiers or especially Fallschirmjagers, were miles away
from the combat value hey had in the early years of the war. By the
end of 44, experineced COs and NCOs were rare, the soldiers were
drafted and quickly sent to battle, being heavily mauled in the years before, Fallschirmjager Divisions were filled with Luftwaffe Ground Personel and green replacements. The 3rd FJ Division was among the
worst performing units in the Ardennes.
