btw, if anyone of you remember some errors in original cod2 maps, don't be afraid to write/PM me. Maybe you find something that could be corrected too :)

There is a classic, where after you destroy the 155 mm guns in "Point du hoc" you can see Two Pvt.Braeburn waiting for you on the road

Send me a PM with this error. I need to know exactly when (after which objective) and where (screenshots with the exact location of the 2 Braeburns).

But I have a feeling that correcting this will be a problem...

This isn't an error, rather a suggestion for something that makes more sense. In one of the North Africa maps (totally spacing on what it's called), Crusaders roll down the street as a form of support. It would make a lot more sense if these tanks were Matildas I think.

True,definitely need Matildas.

Will be much harder to put the matildas in game to not replace the crusaders, tho map-hacking might make another opportunity?

I don't have a Matilda tank model and I don't plan to make one. So that pretty much solves this topic.

@Simcardo
It is possible to add new vehicles (I did that with the Panzer IV and british QF6 artillery). Extensive map-hacking and scripting is involded to do it though.

I think the fact that the "Big scary" german tanks in the Africa missions are actually Panzer IIs, should be changed, perhaps Panzer IV F2s.

They will be changed, though not completely. You will se both Panzer II and (mostly) Panzer IV, and even some Tiger in the last missions.

In the downloads section, there's a try-out for the new Panzer IV models, and includes changing the Panzer II's into the IV F2/G in North Africa. Makes a lot more sense, and looks great too.

As Vassili said, this was already done. In both tank ride missions there will be all 3 major German tanks - PanzerII, IV and Tiger. Plus random spawns of anti-tank infantry (which is pretty deadly btw)

Lol, I have never noticed this!

By the way, in the Rusian mission in which you must advance towards the town hall, there is a destroyed Tiger tank, but they were not in Stalingrad, so perhaps you could replaced with a destroyed Panzer IV.

Description

The El Alamein map contained the Normandy Sherman tankmodel which is of course incorrect since the map takes place in Africa :D I did some map 'hacking' in order to correct this problem. Thanks to Maytckis for pointing this out.
