New Marty... Thread - Back to the Future: Hill Valley mod for Grand Theft Auto: Vice City

I just made a Marty that looks more realistic (at least in the layers). he's pretty much Marty right out of bed. not the best quality i know but what do u guys think?

we have a character modeler now and hes working on a marty model

yeah i know kitt, this is just to give sumthing to the people. im not lookin to interfere with the mod, (Cause you guys are doin an awesome job) i just make poor quality skins and share them. y keep em to myself? lol.

ok, i was bored so i made a marty skin. Its NOT great, but i edited an old marty skin (e.g.define the jacket, change the trousers) and added some 'marty' aviators and included his shirt sleeves..see for yourself. Like i said it's not perfect but if youre looking for a bit of change and want to add another skin to your 'library' of skins, here ya go..!

Whats the best program to make skins or edit them?

i just edited an older one with paint and adobe photoshop elements (came free with laptop but you can probably find something similar on the net)

I fixed up marty after the vid though, so now his "Life Preserver" dosen't go over his shoulders and the blue lines on his shirt don't stand out as much.

I'll post pics in a sec, cause my nets been slowed and i can't seem to open photobucket

oohhh just saw the vid RicardoDude, those skins looking very very good! how did you pull of the open shirt thing on marty but so that its not on the back? i cant wait for them!!! upload soon!!!

just a simple remapping thing to make the back have a different part of the texture from the front. And thats RicardoDude, not Tom.

Whats with Marty these days? He gets fat, then he gets skinny.

I used different outfits though, Marty I used the Haitian one, and Doc I used a tracksuit one.

no, the only thing changed was the picture. You sure you installed it right?

what program do you use to change like the .dff and.txd files

same one you used to install 0.2b. gta img editor or something like that

I use G-IMG, Its much more visual

i don't really care. As long as it gets the job done easily.
