Help with "Build a time machine garage" Thread - Back to the Future: Hill Valley mod for Grand Theft Auto: Vice City

Ok i'll start here.
Reinstalled vice city, installed mod, worked perfectly
Tried to play later and now every time i take a DeLorean into the garage and i select the model, it crashes the game with no error message
sometimes i can actually get the BTTF1 delorean but then i go to 2015 for the BTTF2 delorean(my fave ) but then the game crashes as soon as i select the model, in the same way it does with the BTTF1 delorean.
so i don't know if this is something wrong with the code or if this is something wrong with it on my end only.. any help would be greatly appreciated

Are you sure you installed it perfectly?

AFAIK.. i downloaded the automatic installer because of the smaller size.. i also have a no-cd exe because of my friend breaking the disc.. but the mod doesnt change the .exe

Update- nothing changed, but now i can make it into a BTTF1 DeLorean without crashing (most of the time) so its only when i try and change a BTTF1 into a BTTF2?

Edit- BTTF1 now broke too :/

you surely have a problem in loading models...i had the same problem...do you have a slow or old computer?

i think there was an updated scm in the bug reports that fixed that problem.

old and slow.. but i play laods of games on it.. its good enough to play vice city hitch free.. and an andreas and source games.. so it cant be that bad. Also, i load the models fine, i have used the bttf mod since 0.2 then just recently found b & c xD

@DeLorean Is it in the current download? and im about to try the manual install pack to see if that proves better results

Yeah i just found that a minute ago before i noticed the reply and i saw you had the same problem and that it was fixed
Downloaded. still need to try it out but i guess im gonna keep my hopes up

Yeah, I never had a check to see if the model was loaded, so you created a half-loaded model,which made vc confused and caused it to die and go to blue hell.

oh.. my game just totally died, lol

Yeah, it works perfectly and im really enjoying the new version
