Ha it took some time but i modified the Deluxo's acceleration handling so now i need the whole length of the largest runway at the airport to reach 88mph.

Now i got to start right at either end of the largest runway and flaw it up to the other end and just as i hit the fence or go into the water i hit 88mph.

Ill upload a vid of it later and post a link in here to show if thats ok since i did mod the deluxo's handling just wanna get deloreans and others permission if i can show that.

now get into a cop or lybian chase, or try to time travel in someplace other than the airport.

Aug 15 2007 Anchor

easly done, just go into flying mode haha.

Later im going to mess about with the cop cars handling too make em faster and turn harder

chevron that sounds wicked, i mean i dont want to have a whole runway's worth but can u tell me or send me how u do that?

Aug 25 2007 Anchor

open handling.cfg in the data folder, find each deloreans handling (deluxo, infernus, banshee) and reduce the 14th value

thanks very much KITT

have fun escaping from cops at a high wanted star level in a non-bttf2 delorean

Aug 26 2007 Anchor

not about escaping from cops for me these days, more about trying to get the whole "diffuclt-to-get-to-88" thing u get in the movies...
incidently which column to change the acceleration so it climbs slower too?

Aug 27 2007 Anchor

why do u even want it to go slow in fact the deloreans in the movies engines were replaced with porsche 911 engines so it was pretty fast

Aug 27 2007 Anchor

it wasn't a 911. It was a 928 engine. The 928 engine had that whine you hear in the movies that the normal delorean didn't have. Something about liquid fuel injector or something that made it.

Besides, try going against 1985 Hill Valley Cops (5 star level). The delorean as it is can't outrun them. It has a hard time with 4 stars as well. Below that is fine.

Aug 27 2007 Anchor

oh and isnt the 928 have a 911 engine just built differently or did the 911 actually be a tuned up version of 928 engine because im not a big fan of porsches

Aug 27 2007 Anchor

completely different engines for 2 completely different cars, at least in design. No, the 928 never used a 911 engine.

ok because i like BMWs,Ferrari, lambos, and every american car except chevy, and i also like volksvagon.
