Zone of Homeless has the aim to bring total freeplay in the zone. Several new levels, artifacts, weapons, quests and other stuff. Do what you want and enjoy the life in the zone.

Clear Sky looks particularly stunning. You're doing some really great work and this is one of the mods I'm most excited for.

Thats a personal goal of myself, to make CS look better than before, but without using any graphical extenders like reshade. There are a lot a of mods out there, which actually screw up the whole look using some stupids effects, just because its possible.

For creating this setup for CS I used quite a lot of textures from all parts of stalker. I also find some nice polished vanilla textures with better bumps, which give the zone a nice SoC in CS.

If I manage to find, or create a setup for reshade that would be fitting for our mod, I might make it optional. But this is a task for later on... atm we got more important goals to fulfill.

If the ground is glowing red color, maybe the sky should be too. That would explain the red color on ground, from sky...

Thats a ppe, the old one from SoC which was used for mods there. The red colr is ok, but I'm still thinking about changing it. Turning the sky red will be difficult, because I need to change the textures and then they should look fitting for the emissions... which I can imagine it could be a hard task.

Description

A little video showing the rework of the emissions from CS. Strange weather, instant death during the emission if you are not in a shelter, and a quite short period of the main phase.

So I changed some sounds, added many, added or readded ppe's, extended the length of the emission and the behavior if you are outside. At the start you will get a warning via the network, a deep growling and the sirens will start. When the emission starts, outside you will get a little warning which will reduce your health and power, a few seconds later you will receive a big hit. It will lower your health and power around 50% and you will get damage from now on in every second you are outside. Also radiation will hit you, all damages are based on the location and its distance to the NPP. At the end the weather can end up in one of 5 cycles.

Sounds and some textures are from Atmosfear 3 for CoP, so all credits to Cromm ;)

The video was done quite fast, so excuse some rough audio transitions.

I recommend a sub-woofer for hearing the difference as good as possible.
