yeah. there are a lot of Missing Strings that need to get renamed or bypassed.

probably from Nationalist China, Communist China, Finland, or the Netherlands. these donated factions made extensive use of the Localization folder files. theharkonnen and I have decided to bypass that feature of the game and have all new names contained in the source file.

this means that rather than opening up the Localization folder file and scrolling through thousands and thousands of lines of code-- if you want to adjust the name of a unit you simply open up the unit file and change it. the same holds true for generals.

this uses up a little more memory than the game's original format-- but it makes it much easier to add new factions (and since we've got over 15 new factions, making our work easier seemed like the better choice)

hoping to get all of the Missing strings removed by the final release.

Description

since somebody asked about the P-47 a screenshot seemed in order.

the P-47 packs a lot more firepower than the P-51, and is ideally suited for defending your base against enemy attacks. this is a fully upgraded P-47 wiping out a Japanese Anti-Aircraft Infantry Regiment that was rushing my base as part of a larger attack.
