finally got around to creating the dark green clouds of poisonous gas. as an additional indicator I created a new 'flag' that has a white skull on a red background. (it got very confusing when Chemical Weapons got used with Smoke Barrage or Fear at the same time)
Is this real in the war or is this like in C&C generals being modern or out of date being futuritic
He's already said he's implementing only real units, though Gizmo said he'd use units/vehicles/specials that would have been available en mass had the war lasted say a year or two. All the units were either in research/construction/testing phases at the time the war ended.
there is some documentary evidence that chemical weapons were used by the Japanese in China. it was usually discretely named 'special smoke'.
as much as possible I try to base everything in this mod on historical research. there are rare occassions where non-historical units get used. the first example would be units that arrived to late to see action during the war. (the Centurion, the P-80 jet fighter). the second example includes things that would have been done if everything went according to plan. (the Maus and all of the other super-tanks fall into this category)
I think the Italians used chemical weapons in Ethiopia as well.
