my older maps were glitching and crashing pretty badly. so, I decided to throw them out and start over. after studying dozens of photographs and maps I created alternate skins for the Far East default buildings to reflect the buildings in this region. I also used the Universal Terrain biome with some new types of mountain and jungle terrain. I also took some time to create some terraced farming communities along the way. you can see them in the upper left-hand corner.
