Hm...According to your note then it's seem this regiment can inflict devastate first strike but very vulnerable to prolong engagement. So they should use hit and run or have a meatshield (the Scythian?)

BTW are they heavily armored, or fast?

they're not especially fast, and all of these units are based on obsolete Hungarian AA tanks and light tanks. so they can't really trade punches with anything. hit-and-run tactics or shielding them with other regiments is definitely the best way to go. historically they would have been used from ambush positions. since this game doesn't do ambushes very well... might have to come up with something else.

the weapons were apparently not very accurate at normal combat ranges. however, when used at close range from ambush positions they could be effective. given the incredibly slow rate of fire I should probably give the weapons a large morale penalty against targeted regiments.

Description

I've learned about some very unique Hungarian anti-tank platforms late in the war. the obsolete Nimrod anti-aircraft tank was modified to mount a large rifle-grenade type weapon using a shaped charge. it had an extremely low rate of fire, but was apparently capable of knocking out enemy tanks.

the other weapon, which I'm sure I spelled incorrectly, was a large shaped charge rocket that could penetrate 300 mm of armor at short ranges. this unit has a reload time of several minutes, but it can inflict a devastating 600 points of armor piercing damage in a single attack and weakens enemy morale.

to support these slow firing anti-tank weapons a pair of regular tank-destroyers has been put in supporting positions. this regiment can inflict staggering amounts of damage in a short period of time. however, because of it's very low rate of fire it absolutely must be used in conjunction with other tanks to get the best results.

if you look closely at the CO tank unit you'll see the rocket rails on the back of the hull.
