Single player mod for Half-Life. It takes place in alternative timeline after Gordon rejected GMan offer, but escaped the Grunt battle by teleport. Made with passion and heart to Half-Life when I was younger:) You can check the mod on YT at Bolloxed channel.
An action packed mappack with nicely designed maps that has that oldschool feel, it's not so short either. Very nice work for a then 16 year old :)
It's always great to see a lost mod / mappack re-discovered like this, especially when they are this good.
A great medium length mod.
Maps are quite detailed and are classic-style mostly:
'Lambda Core' style
'Office Complex' style
'Questionable Ethics' style
And there is even a map near the end that's op4 'Foxtrot Uniform' style!
Difficulty is very balanced in Normal.
In Hard however, it's a little too tough early to mid game due to limited ammo and weapons, but once you start getting the stronger weapons it becomes quite simple.
It's a great blast from the past!
If the year of review was 2004 - definitely 9/10.
Very good classic-style mapping-only mod (+some additional voice acting). A lot of gunfight action. Mapping is close enough to original HL style, all the weapons and most of enemies available + some GMan appearance :) . Black Mesa only!
