KSVK is a Russian .50 caliber (12.7x108mm) anti-materiel rifle developed at Degtyarev plant in the late 1990s. It was designed for anti-materiel tasks and counter-sniper duty, as well as for ellimination of enemies in heavy armor or behind thick cover. KSVK is a bullpup configured, manually operated, rotary bolt (or straight-pull, depending on variant) rifle. Ammunition is fed from detachable 5-round box magazines. Heavy barrel is equipped with a massive muzzle brake. KSVK is said to be a moderately accurate rifle, similar to American Barret M82 rifle. It's advantages are very high power and range, but it is very heavy and unwieldy.
