Aristeia is a vision of the trojan war era and is based on the famous story from the epic cycle from which the Iliad has secured its place among the most important works in western literature. Aristeia attempts to be an enjoyable stylised representation of the trojan war faithful to its depiction in archaic literature and early classical pottery.

The better mod and RTS game about Troy, before CA released its new game in 2020.
Its characteristic aesthetic of Bronze Age period is demonstrated by the "yellowing" of the environment, both in battles and in the campaign. The combat system between Heroes in some cases can be good and in others not; in my case I never had CTD problems with them, playing Aristeia. Battles are tough and a good hero can change course. His 2D Art for the units, buildings, interface and portraits suits the mod style and complements them. Its balance in campaigns, main and provincial give it new areas, while one is specific to each faction or house, the other is between two large factions, Greeks and Trojans, fighting each other.
Overall, Ariseia: Total War is one of the best mods about the Trojan War.
Very well-crafted, even include custom victory videos. Great attention to details. Lighting is, however, too dark, but that can be easily fixed.
