Apotheosis takes the player to the mysterious Oblivion realms that have seldom been explored in past games. There is a great emphasis on enemy and environment variety. For that reason, in Apotheosis, every world has a distinct feel and art style. Creatures are different and varied accordingly, the skies and the water reflect the inherent character of the realm's Daedric Lord. Each encounter with a Daedric boss is a deadly experience that rewards you with a unique and powerful artifact.
This is all made possible through a Hub World, 11 Daedric worldspaces, custom 3D assets, music, and voice acted quests. I hope to announce a release date in time.
Meanwhile, checkout this demo to Apotheosis.
oh my godness! this mod will be awesome!!!
just reading the description gave me an ******
OMG ITS COMING
OH ****
HOLY ****
Omg I really wanna play this.
This is absolutly a blast! Trying to think of custom assets that might help speed up this Epic mod.. Though your probialy like some mod authors and want everything made from scratch. (Which is fine too :)
For Mehrunes Dagons realm models, (I think Ringmor of bruma had some custom models made in its mod and/or prehaps you could ask the skywind team for some of their custom daedric tilesets
For skyrim nifs that had to do ith Molag bal, there is a coldharbor mod on nexus thats fairly decent you might be able to borrow assets from.
For unique cave textures and models there is the Lost Spires Mod in Oblivion thats assets were made open source.... Gah sorry.
In any event, I love the demo and cant wait to see this mod finished :)
Personally if for some reason you dont get a large team Id focus on each realm at a time, that way if you burn out youll have atleast several good quality quests for people to do. If you gather enough support, then its not as much of an issue. I just hope that this brilliant concept of a mod gets the attention it deserves.
One small idea that I have for it is that once you complete a daedric lords quest in Skyrim (Verminas staff etc) that their respective weapon is used as a kind of key to open a dungeon/door to the daedric realm on this Hub world.
Cool thanks for the heads up :)
If you can make the rest of the gameplay as fun, dynamic and challenging as Dark Souls is, I would actually consider playing Skyrim, instead of letting it rot in my library like an unwanted child underneath the staircase.
